How we work
As Independent Financial Advisers we are free to advise on financial products available from all product providers available to us. We use advanced computer software to research, compare and source the most suitable product available to suit your current needs and circumstances. We are thus able to make arrangements with the aim of maximizing the benefits to our clients.
Our primary focus is on the provision of ongoing service and providing regular review to our clients. We have adapted our systems during 2010 and have a defined and structured service proposition available to all clients via the AEON Service Charter. This provides ongoing client reviews on a half-yearly, annual or two yearly interval dependent on the scheme selected.
During an initial meeting we will explain how we operate and the different ways in which we may be remunerated for our advice. This meeting is free of charge and without obligation and during the course of it we will endeavour to find out as much as possible about your circumstances, current financial arrangements and your future objectives. At the end of the meeting we should have a reasonable idea as to the advice and help that is required and will explain the initial cost of our advice should you choose to engage us.
Depending on your instructions we will carry out a ‘needs analysis' based on your current situation, and taking into account any specific plans and / or targets that you may have. We will then advise you on anything from a short-term financial objective to a lifetime financial plan.
We frequently find that our advice incorporates other areas that clients had not themselves considered and the initial advice that the client sought may be substituted by other more important needs. All our recommendations are fully explained and discussed and we offer the option of paying for our advice via fees or commission.
