How we are paid
On receiving an enquiry we invite a prospective client to come to our offices for a preliminary meeting. The purpose of the meeting is firstly to establish whether we are able to assist with the individual's needs and objectives and secondly to discuss how we would be paid for our services should we be instructed to proceed.
There is no charge for this preliminary meeting and no obligation on either side. After the free initial consultation we will agree whether you wish to pay us by way of a fee, via commission or by a combination of the two.
Details of the fees payable in respect of certain specific tasks are provided within the document entitled “key facts about our services and costs” which will be provided to you at the initial meeting.
Alternatively you may elect to join AEON's membership charter and enjoy a range of benefits for a monthly or annual membership fee. These include:
· A commitment to provide regular annual or bi-annual reviews
· A discount on our normal initial commission rates of upto 25% on investment related transactions
· Quarterly or half-yearly fund reviews
· High Street Store vouchers for any individual introduced by you who subsequently engages our services.
Whether we take our remuneration by way of commission or fees will be a matter of discussion and agreement, and no charges for fees will be made without prior notification in writing.
In respect of mortgages we will typically charge a fee of £250, but this may vary dependant on the complexity of the advice involved.
